My resume was revamped and I was given advice to change some keywords depending on the job posting. Also, I was given a chance to have a glimpse of the Wonsulting online course which made me realize how important networking is and through networking it helped me speak confidently during my interview. I uploaded my resume on Indeed which caught a PerfectServe recruiterâs eye.
Before I was working with Wonsulting, my job search strategy was quantity over quality. I sent out over hundreds of applications only to hear back from a select few or sometimes no one. Being a coding bootcamp grad, this was the mentality our instructors taught us since the competition was high for new grad roles. I was getting burnt out and tired of my hard work and efforts were going to waste. Wonsulting really stepped up my job search skills and showed me techniques on how to stand out from other candidates and improve my response rate with recruiters. I was finally getting responses from recruiters at companies that I would usually get an automated rejection email from! Three years later, Iâm still using the techniques I learned from Wonsulting and I finished my most recent job search with 6 offers and ended up at my dream company at Meta! I owe much of my success to Wonsulting and would highly recommend their courses and services to anyone in their job search!
I've spent over 15 years in the financial services industry, building a solid foundation in various roles. When I began looking for new opportunities locally, I found myself hitting a wall. Despite my experience, I was struggling to make it past the final interview rounds. Iâd walk away thinking the interviews went well, then I wouldnât hear back or get the offer. It was frustrating and confusing. Thatâs when I turned to Wonsulting. I knew I needed to do something different to break through. What made the biggest difference was the interview prep. Wonsulting helped me tighten my responses, cutting down on overly wordy answers and learning to really listen to what interviewers were asking. I began answering more directly, more impactfully. That shift made all the difference. I was finally able to showcase my experience in a way that connected with hiring managers. Thanks to the support and tools from Wonsulting, I landed a role as a Product Manager at Apex FinTech.
Wonsulting helped me and guided me that how can I build network through LinkedIn and how that can help you to  get your dream job. Also, they reviewed my resume and helped me to update my resume which helped me so much that I was getting positive feedbacks from recruiters. But the best part was LinkedIn templates that helped me to get interviews and helped me to stand out from other candidates.
Wonsulting was really helpful for me. As an international student after graduation, stepping into the Canadian job market without any prior experience was a whole new challenge and mile stone in my life. Wonsulting has helped me with the resume and helped me to be confident enough to reach out to people for reference and mentorship and their social media videos are also made great impact on my LinkedIn profile and understanding a very big lesson that "Rejection is Redirection".
Wonsulting first helped me with my resume. I can see an incredible improvement from my previous version to the one edited by Wonsulting, specially results. But most importantly asking me the right questions to fill those gaps with impacting results and actions words. The interview prep helped me understand the importance of curiosity and non-verbal communication, the tone and energy you transmit while articulating the interview questions. I also found resources that helped me structure my answers from IG and TikTok and Wonsulting's deck sample was really helpful (Facebook Proposal). And those examples from Wonsulting in the YouTube channel. There I could see how using the right words within 1-2 min can make an impact in your career. The interview process from my current job, it felt like a conversation 60%. I felt optimistic from the beginning, it was all or nothing. My Canadian visa was about to expire, and got the job last weekday posible, Friday about 7pm. I was in the job search from Jan 21, and focused 100% from May 21, 2 exciting opportunities from June (#1 multiple rounds, at least 4, #2 3 steps around 2 weeks) got the job early September from the second opportunity.
