Wonsulting helped me dive in and really think about my resume. They helped think about how to create xyz details of my recent work experience and how it is relevant to the jobs I was applying to. We went through and reviewed what should be on the resume and what was no longer relevant. It was also great to have another set of eyes on there for small grammar and spelling mistakes along with the formatting.

Interviewing tips were another area that Wonsulting really helped me with — the feedback given through a detailed excel spreadsheet allowed me to go back from time to time and reflect on how I could answer better. My interview mentor, Ishan, was also the kindest person ever and we still keep in touch to this day. LinkedIn Job searching was also another valuable skill that I learned. My mentor for this area, Adrian, happened to already be working in the same role that I was applying for and was able to provide very insightful advice. Besides from the session that Wonsulting offered, Adrian was open to helping me further if needed — which I thought was so kind. Knowing how to narrow down and how to craft the outreach messages to recruiters / managers on LinkedIn was my key takeaway from this session. Overall, working with Wonsulting helped me gain the confidence and skills to stand before the interviewers during my job search. Aside from the strategies that I’ve learned and continue to use today, Wonsulting has gone above and beyond to instill confidence in me along the way.

Wonsulting is a wonderful resource. Wonsulting employees consulted me in giving critical feedback and informed information I did not receive from my university or any other professional. During every job search, it is so important in gaining correct information instead of just "getting advice" from people; getting advice from unknowledgeable people will lead the person astray. Wonsulting first helped me with my resume. I can see an incredible improvement from my previous version to the one edited by Wonsulting, specially results. The interview process from my current job, it felt like a conversation 60%. I felt optimistic from the beginning, it was all or nothing. My Canadian visa was about to expire, and got the job last weekday posible, Friday about 7pm. I was in the job search from Jan 21, and focused 100% from May 21, 2 exciting opportunities from June (#1 multiple rounds, at least 4, #2 3 steps around 2 weeks) got the job early September from the second opportunity.

Aside from the many guides and resume buffs the most helpful thing was Wonsulting’s team who did a wonderful job throughout the course of my job search. I had assistance with strengthening my resume and using keywords that would pop out to the recruiter. I had previously had a lot of fluff words and they cut it back.
