I had been laid off and was a fairly new graduate. Wonsulting kept my hopes up, kept me inspired, and constantly gave advice on every platform. Having followed them on each of them, allowed me to always be reminded that everyone is going through the same job hunting as you and that it's normal to feel down. The live sessions gave me VALUABLE information that people can easily charge tons of money for but with the Wonsultingâs team and its passion, they put people first and offered advice without hesitation. They edited my resume and I landed a job at Tesla and more opportunities!
Wonsulting helped me dive in and really think about my resume. They helped think about how to create xyz details of my recent work experience and how it is relevant to the jobs I was applying to. We went through and reviewed what should be on the resume and what was no longer relevant. It was also great to have another set of eyes on there for small grammar and spelling mistakes along with the formatting.
Wonsulting first helped me with my resume. I can see an incredible improvement from my previous version to the one edited by Wonsulting, specially results. But most importantly asking me the right questions to fill those gaps with impacting results and actions words. The interview prep helped me understand the importance of curiosity and non-verbal communication, the tone and energy you transmit while articulating the interview questions. I also found resources that helped me structure my answers from IG and TikTok and Wonsulting's deck sample was really helpful (Facebook Proposal). And those examples from Wonsulting in the YouTube channel. There I could see how using the right words within 1-2 min can make an impact in your career. The interview process from my current job, it felt like a conversation 60%. I felt optimistic from the beginning, it was all or nothing. My Canadian visa was about to expire, and got the job last weekday posible, Friday about 7pm. I was in the job search from Jan 21, and focused 100% from May 21, 2 exciting opportunities from June (#1 multiple rounds, at least 4, #2 3 steps around 2 weeks) got the job early September from the second opportunity.
I was able to practice my interview skills. I'm typically really anxious about interviews, but my coach was able to give me tips and feedback about how to answer the most important questions to help me stand out more in the interview process. For example, when the interviewer asks, "How are you?" That seems like a simple question that's not going to impact your interview. However, it's your opportunity to build a relationship with them beyond, "I'm good."
After earning my Masterâs in Information Systems and working 4 years in analytics at Accenture and Yazaki India, I thought landing a job would be easy. But despite applying to 30â40 jobs a day, I wasnât getting offers, just burnout. I turned to Wonsulting for a resume review, but the advisor told me something unexpected: âYour resumeâs fine, you need a better strategy.â That advice changed everything. I started tailoring applications, networking smarter, and being more intentional. Within two months, I landed interviews, and eventually, roles at SMBC Group and now at Zenith Technology.
