2024 is around the corner.

‍

Or should I say, it’s in 2 days. What are some goals you have for 2024?!

‍

If you were like me before and you’re asking yourself “wait what are those goals?”, no need to fear.

‍

This newsletter is for you and wil breakdown how you can identify those goals and create an action plan.

‍

But before we dive into this, click here if you need any job search help.

Now, how do you prepare for the New Year 2024?

‍

With my favorite thing to do - Vision Boarding!

‍

‍

I remember over 2 years ago, I was featured on Forbes about this exact topic - how I landed a job using social media but also how I turned my goals into reality.

‍

And I do this by doing the following:

‍

1) Write your Current State

‍

In your current state which is at the left side of your vision board, this is how you’re feeling mentally & personally as well as where you are in your career.

‍

Write candidly about these feelings and ask yourself these questions:

- Are you happy with where you are mentally? Personally? In your career?

- What goals did you set last year that you attained vs. fell short of?

- What are things that you’re not happy with that you see as opportunities for improvement?

‍

2) Draw your Future State

‍

Then you go to your future state at the right side of your vision board; this is where you’d like to be in the future.

‍

And the best part about this section? You get to DRAW IT.

‍

Drawing your goals rather than simply writing them down allows you to visualize what you want to achieve.

‍

And that is so important to do because then, you’ll have a visual representation of what you want to achieve.

‍

‍

Here’s an example of mine from 2018-2021 that you can take as influence for yours.

‍

And yes - I’m not the best drawer but it’s the effort that counts.

‍
